Ducted Air Conditioning, otherwise known as central air con, is an air conditioning system that is able to heat and cool your entire home or workplace. The system has an indoor and outdoor unit, with the indoor unit usually hidden in the roof space.
Ducted systems allow for centralised cooling and heating of an entire building or individual zones. They distribute conditioned air through a network of ducts, enabling consistent and efficient temperature control throughout the space. This allows occupants to create different temperature zones within the building, optimising comfort and energy efficiency.
A split system Air Conditioner is made up of two “split” units—a wall-mounted indoor unit that blows conditioned air into the home, and an outdoor unit that expels the heat gathered from the indoor system.
Wall-split systems provide individual room control, allowing occupants to set different temperatures for each room or zone. This flexibility is particularly beneficial in situations where different people have varying comfort preferences or when specific areas require additional cooling or heating.
